The FA Community on Hive Learning is moving

New online FA community on TheFA.com and via The Boot Room

From Tuesday 1st of September, The FA will be launching a new online FA community on TheFA.com and via The Boot Room. The new home will be available alongside all other FA resources and initiatives - making life easier than ever for users.

This means that Hive Learning will no longer be the platform that The FA use for social learning.

Getting started at the new home is simple. All you need is your FAN email address. You do not need a new username, password, or anything like that - logging in is hassle free.

Why are The FA making this change?
It is part of The FA’s Fit for the Future strategy: by bringing their social communities onto TheFA.com, they can far better support you.

It’s straight-forward and easy to get going
You no longer need to use different websites and login details. You have one login for everything - your FA account, The Boot Room, FA Learning and The FA Community.

New and updated functionality
There are more ways for users to join the conversation, find support and build connections with the introduction of blogs, Wiki’s and new discussion forums.

A safer community for all
Adherence to The FA’s safeguarding standards allows them to provide a safer online environment for every user.

Fit for the future
The FA will constantly review and improve the new community. They will release enhancements and support to users throughout the new season and beyond as they grow and develop.

What happens next?
This will be a fresh start for how The FA structure community support across all aspects of the game. If you have any content that is saved in Hive Learning, please make sure you save this elsewhere before Monday 31 August 2020.

The FA will not be migrating personal/private groups to the new home, and content will not be accessible from September.

You can sign up for a personal free cloud hosting to save any resources you need at Google Drive, Dropbox and One Drive amongst others.

The FA will be here to support you throughout this move to make sure you have everything you need to hit the ground running. There will be further communications in the coming weeks as The FA countdown to launch.
