Sam joined Sussex County FA back in November 2022.

In his role, Sam is responsible for the monitoring of the County FA website and social media channels, working alongside Darren Ford in the promotion of the County FA and the work it does.

His role also sees him interview notable players, referees, and coaches from Sussex, in order to spotlight the work, they do. He is also responsible for the promotion of FA events and initiatives across our digital platforms.

Sam’s involvement in football saw him go on to study a Masters in Sports Journalism, before joining the media team with the London City Lionesses. A keen player, Sam has turned out a number of times for our staff team and continues to play five-a-side whenever he can.
