We’re pleased to announce that the England Football Discover My Talent referral window is now open until Friday 9 February 2024.

Is there an amazing young female player on your team, who you think has potentially got what it takes to grow from grassroots to greatness? Who could even become a Lioness of the future? 

This is your chance to refer a player and she could take her first step on the Women’s England Talent Pathway. 

The Referral Window is now open so it’s the perfect time to act. 

Since it’s inception there’s been over 4,500 unique referrals and a host of talent that wouldn’t have been discovered without your support.

From coaches to volunteers and match officials, to teachers and anyone else working with young players who see potential, you could be the difference by referring a young player.

England Football are looking for players who are eligible to represent England, who are born between 2006 and 2010, and this could even include players who excel in other sports with transferable skills.

We want to give them the opportunity to access this inclusive and accessible pathway, and importantly, they will continue to play in their existing environment.

The aim is to ensure the England teams are supplied with the quality, diversity and depth of players to enable the country to win another major tournament. 

In pursuit of this ambition, no stone will be left unturned when it comes to finding future talent across England. 

So, if you have a player in mind, all you need to do is refer her by filling in our Player Referral Form to potentially set them on their journey.
