In partnership with Age UK, we’re delighted to be able to offer Women’s Walking Football Sessions here in Sussex.
The sessions are fun, welcoming, and social for aged 40+ females where no experience or fitness is required.
It is all about getting outside, meeting new people, and having fun (There’s also a free cup of tea or coffee in the community centre cafe afterwards!)
“We are delighted to have teamed up with the Sussex County FA to work on this Women’s Only Walking Football project at our new Kings Weald facility in Burgess Hill,” said John Donoghue, Fitness & Wellbeing Manager at Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove.
“The venue is a wonderful modern sports hall for the Sussex County FA coaches to deliver the sessions.
“This is open to all female walking footballers in the area for fun, friendly walking football games and socialising afterwards in our modern cafe'.”
