With the 2023/24 football season on the horizon, many clubs will be faced with the problem of what to do with all that old kit and equipment.

However, instead of simply leaving it in storage or in someone’s garage or car boot, we together with Sussex to Africa are urging clubs to donate those unwanted pieces so football in Africa can thrive.

What can be donated?

• Shirts
• Shorts
• Socks
• Tracksuits
• Boots
• Trainers
• Goalkeeper Gloves
• Shin Pads
• Footballs
• Cones
• Kit bags

All donations should be clean and kept together in a plastic bag, bin bag or box and donations of both adult and children's kit and equipment are welcome.

How to donate? (Clubs are encouraged to collate donations from players etc.)

• Drop off at the Sussex County FA Headquarters in Lancing (Sussex County FA HQ, Culver Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 9AX)
• Contact us to arrange for the items to be collected

All donations will be sorted through at Sussex to Africa’s base in Pulborough, before being shipped over to Africa to support the work carried out by various organisations.
