We are delighted to announce the appointment of Karen Harrington as Designated Safeguarding Assistant. 

Karen will be working alongside Annette Madden in our Safeguarding department.

Karen joins us having been around grassroots football for many years since her youngest child started playing football at the age of five. 

He is now 20 and still playing and Karen has always been a long-standing supporter, either from the side-lines or washing the team kit!

Karen joins us from a school background starting in Primary Education 15 years ago, supporting children in their learning environment, then moving onto secondary school as a Welfare Officer. 

Upon her appointment, Karen had this to say: “Ensuring that a young people are safe and happy has always been my priority and I look forward to continuing that here.”
