We are delighted to announce that Brighton’s American Express Community Stadium will once again host the Sussex Senior Cup Final this year.

The Amex first hosted the Sussex Senior Cup Final in 2011 when Brighton beat Eastbourne Borough 2-0 in front of over 7,000 fans. 

Now, following two years of the competition being curtailed, we can finally go back to the stadium for its tenth Senior Cup Final with Brighton facing Worthing. 

Worthing have really meant business in the competition this year scoring 16 goals and conceding just twice including a 5-0 win over Three Bridges in the Semi-Final. They return to the final for the first time since 2016.

Brighton have been no strangers to the final of the Senior Cup in recent years, this being the third out of the last four finals they have reached. 

Our CEO, Ken Benham, had this to say following the news: “We are absolutely delighted that Brighton have allowed us to return to The Amex during their busy schedule. 

“It’s a privilege for us as a county to showcase this historic competition at such a fantastic venue and after two years without it, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back.”
