We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ayscha Woods to the role of Development Officer.

Ayscha will be working alongside, Paul Ofei-Kwatia, Sean Lofting and Abi Knight in our Development team which is headed up by Development Manager, Jade Harker.

Prior to joining us, Ayscha worked for Brighton & Hove City Council as a planning officer for the past six and a half years.

Her passion has always been football, having previously played for Brighton & Hove Albion Centre of Excellence, and later progressing into the first team for a short time.

This season she is playing for Woodingdean Wanderers, whilst also playing recreational five-a-side football.

Speaking on her appointment, Ayscha said: “I’m delighted to have joined the Development team here at Sussex County FA.

“The work they’ve done already to help grow the game in Sussex speaks for itself, and I can’t wait to get stuck in with the team and build further on that success.”
