We are delighted to announce the appointment of Lisa Benn as Operations Officer.

Lisa will be working alongside, Dan Bartlett, Sienna Howell, Abi Knight and Ray Welch in our Operations team which is headed up by Paul Jeffery. 

Prior to joining us, Lisa completed a Sport and Exercise Science degree at Chichester University, later followed by a PGCE in education, teaching sport.

She more recently gained experience working in football, specifically the refereeing side, for the past 6 years with another County FA.

Lisa first qualified as a referee in Sussex, aged 14, and has always had an involvement in football locally, and more recently nationally, as a match official on The FA Women’s Super League and also the men’s pyramid at Step 3. 

Upon joining our team, Lisa had this to say: “I am keen to provide everyone with the opportunities to access football, whether as a player, coach or referee, and support them in achieving their ambitions.

“I am delighted to be welcomed into the team at the Sussex County FA, and I look forward to utilising my knowledge and skillset to build on the good work that is already being carried out across the county.”
