Referee Development Online Event
Sussex RA-FA Youth Council are hosting an exciting, free of charge, online referee development event which will be led by Premier League official, Tim Robinson.
The evening will kick-off with an introduction about the Sussex RA-FA Youth Council followed by ice breakers that will get everyone involved before the guest speaker sessions.
Following on from this, the evening will consist of two 45 min sessions one lead by Andy Bennett (Football League Match Official) talking of the role of an Assistant Referee and what key decisions you will need to make.
Then a 45 min Session from Tim Robinson on the role of a Referee and what decisions will need to be made. Both sessions will involve match clips from all levels of the game and the opportunity for all to learn, get involved and ask questions at the end of each session.

Talking to us recently about the event, Sussex RA-FA Youth Council member, Billy Wootten, had this to say: “Any referee can come on and join and the fact it’s online and not in Lancing will hopefully mean we get a bigger turnout.
“Tim Robinson and Andy Bennett will be there to answer any questions and go through a few sessions and a few ice breakers to get everyone involved.
“I think the presentations they’ve led before have been really good and certainly beneficial for me and definitely a good learning experience for anyone who joins.”
