Brighton Footgolf has reopened its greens providing Sussex footballers with the perfect opportunity to dust off those boots and work on the accuracy of those cross-field diagonal pings, all whilst obeying COVID-19 Government guidelines.
With golf courses given the Government green light to return last week, Brighton Footgolf is uniquely placed to offer a football twist on the usual visit to fairways and tees, with the aim of kicking a football into an oversized hole in as few shots (kicks) as possible.
Richard Philp, the general manger at Brighton Footgolf said: “At last we can return and bring a little fun into your lives during lockdown, but obviously following all the COVID-19 government guidelines to make sure we keep you and our staff safe.
“With a big dose of common sense, we know we can bring some fun to every household, or one very lucky person you wish to play with. Our group size will be maximum of 6 from the same household, or 2 if from different households.
“We will send out COVID-19 guidelines and information about how we will look after you upon your visit with every booking confirmation, and we can’t wait to see you all and bring a dose of fun and happiness!”
Prices range from 9 holes for Under-16s at only £5 and Adults £9, or 18 holes for £8 Under-16s and £15 Adults. There is a £1 fee to hire one of our specially designed footgolf balls which can be provided in either size 3 or 4 or 5 and come in 5 different colours or you are more than welcome to take your own football along should you wish.
Scorecards and pencils are provided free of charge, so you can take them away with you and challenge yourself to better your score next time.
Bookings can be made online or over the phone, and opening hours are from 10am till Twilight (1 hour before sunset) every day of the week!
