Referee re-registration now open!

Referees can now re-register for the 2019-20 season online via the Whole Game System

All referees are required to register each season with us and the registration process is to be completed through the Whole Game System.

The FA would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your valued contribution to the game over the past twelve months. Football relies on your commitment to ensure matches are refereed by a qualified match official and the refereeing community is built upon the foundation of football fans playing a crucial part in our national game.

These are exciting times to be involved in the game as a match official. Opportunities to learn, develop and progress are available to you all. Those of you who want to, will be given every chance to progress as far as your ability, commitment and ambition allows, whilst maintaining the enjoyment and love for the game.

To access the Whole Game System you will need to know your FA Number (FAN); if you have forgotten your FAN or password you will be able to retrieve this online.

Referee Development Manager, Paul Jeffery, had this to say: “We are extremely proud of all of our referees. The grassroots game wouldn’t exist without them. To date, 253 referees have already re-registered, with several more beginning to update their safeguarding requirements. Please register as soon as you can, particularly by 30 June, to be eligible for FA Cup appointments (including County Cups), and also if you are a 2019/20 promotion candidate.”

Please note there is an annual registration fee of £20.00.
