Safeguarding Poster Competition

Can you create a poster to help children keep safe in football?

To celebrate West Sussex Safeguarding Awareness month, we are running a Safeguarding Poster Competition focused on helping children keep safe in football.

We are looking for young people to design posters that deliver safeguarding messages in a child friendly format.

The poster topic is “keeping children safe in football” and when creating the poster, things to be considered are:
What children should do if they have any worries?
Who can children tell? (e.g. Parents, Trusted Adults, Childline 0800 1111, Football Coach).

The idea is for young people to get as creative as they possibly can! We encourage the use of pens, pencils, paint or computer design – The brighter the better! The poster must be A4 or A3 in size and in portrait view.

We have split the age groups into four categories: 5-7 years, 8-11 years, 12-15 years and 16-18 years and there will be a winner announced from each group.

Winners will be awarded with a £25 gift voucher from their choice of store (subject to availability and at the Sussex County FA’s discretion).

In order to enter the competition, please fill in the entry form below and send along with your poster to: Safeguarding Department, Sussex County FA, Culver Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 9AX.

The deadline for entries is Monday 3 December 2018 and the full terms and conditions of the competition can be found on the entry form.
