Nominations have opened for the McDonald’s Football Mum of the Year 2018.

McDonald’s introduced the award in 2015 with the aim to celebrate the critical role that mums play in keeping the grassroots game going, by selflessly dedicating countless hours of their spare time – often while juggling work with childcare commitments – to all aspects of the game.

McDonald’s have been a long standing supporter of grassroots football in the UK and they continue to champion the deserving mums who enable their children to play and enjoy grassroots football week-in-week-out. 

It is looking to recognise football mums who are leading by example; qualifying as coaches, managing club finances, helping run their child’s local team or even starting a local team so that their children and their friends can play.

The nomination window closes on Wednesday 20 June 2018.
