FA Goalkeeping Conference 15 April

The FA Goalkeeping Conference 2018

Book your place!

On Sunday 15 April 2018, The FA Goalkeeping Conference will return to St. George's Park.

The event has been designed to provide you with a platform to discuss and understand more about the modern goalkeeper, with a specific focus on the ‘Four Corners’ of goalkeeping development which links directly to the fundamentals of the England DNA .

You'll be hearing from some of the biggest names from the grassroots and professional game, amongst them will be Eric Steele. The former Manchester United first team goalkeeping coach is widely regarded as one of the top coaches in the game and has a vast array of experience coaching some of the world's greatest keepers.

He will be talking about his day-to-day work with the likes of Peter Schmeichel, David de Gea and Edwin van der Sar, and linking this to how he managed their differences within the Four Corner model.

Other confirmed guests include:

Thomas Schlieck - Head of goalkeeping development at Borussia Dortmund
Marco Knoop - U19 goalkeeping coach at Borussia Dortmund
Bob Widdowson - Former professional footballer
Martin Thomas - FA lead goalkeeper coach educator
Tim Dittmer - England U21 goalkeeping coach
Jack Robinson - FA national goalkeeping coach

Demand for the event is expected to be high and we would recommend confirming your place to avoid any disappointment.
