Do I need playing experience to become a coach?
No, all you need is an enthusiasm and passion for developing players. The coaching courses will give you the basic information you need to coach.
Do I need to be with a club to start coaching?
You don't need to be with a club to complete the FA Level 1 in Coaching course, however you will need to have access to players.
