Paul joined the Sussex County FA in July 2015.

In his role, Paul leads the team in charge of refereeing, with the main focus on recruitment, progression, conversion and retention, along with corresponding and assisting where necessary with our entire refereeing workforce across the county.

Paul works alongside Lisa Benn and Ray Welch, who make up the referee team.

Paul played football prior to becoming a referee and held many administrative positions with both clubs and leagues. Prior to his employment with us, he served as one of our council members.
