Alice Frise and Jack Hardcastle

Alice Frise and Jack Hardcastle join the team

We welcome interns Alice and Jack

We’re delighted to welcome Development Interns Alice Frise and Jack Hardcastle.

Alice and Jack will be working alongside various departments here, but specifically our Development team.

Currently studying Sports Management at the University of Brighton, Alice has been playing football since she was eight-years-old and has recently begun working as a coach and equipment manager for various football agencies.

This year has also seen Alice take on the role of Vice President of Brighton Universities football teams.

On joining us, Alice said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Development team here at Sussex County FA.

“I’m excited to learn and continue to develop my personal and professional skills whilst shadowing under a welcoming and experienced team.”

Like Alice, Jack has also been playing football since he was young, with his involvement in the game beginning on the school futsal team.

Outside of school, Jack used to play for his local team of Echenevex over in France.

A supporter of both Servette in Geneva and Arsenal, Jack also brings with him six years of coaching experience, and continued love of playing the game at any opportunity.

Alongside his studies at the University of Brighton, Jack helps organise games with local players around the Geneva and Vaud counties where they play every Wednesday and Sunday.

Away from football, Jack is also a keen runner, taking part in Parkruns, alongside also enjoying climbing and films.

Speaking on his internship, Jack said: “I’m excited to start my internship with the Sussex County FA.

“Football has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, so I can’t wait to get started with the Development team here to help continue to grow the game in Sussex.”
