With the 2018/19
football season nearly at a close many clubs will be looking ahead to next
season and taking the opportunity to purchase new kits and equipment.
However, instead of leaving any old kit or equipment in a
storage room at the football club or in someone’s garage, we together with Sussex to
Africa are urging clubs to donate those unwanted pieces so
football in Africa can thrive.
What can be donated?
• Goalkeeper Gloves
• Shin Pads
• Kit bags
All donations should be clean and kept together in a plastic
bag, bin bag or box.
Donations of both adult and children's kit and equipment are
How to donate?
(Clubs are encouraged to collate donations from players etc.)
• Drop off at the Sussex County FA Headquarters in Lancing
• Contact the Sussex County FA who can arrange for the items
to be collected
All donations will be sorted through at Sussex to Africa’s
base in Pulborough, before being shipped over to Africa to support the work
carried out by various organisations.
