Anti-Bullying Week - Reach Out

Anti-Bullying Week 2022

We show our support for this years Anti-Bullying campaign

Once again, we at Sussex County FA are proud to support the Anti-Bullying Alliance this Anti-Bullying weekend, with this year’s theme being Reach Out.

The campaign will run from Monday 14 November to Friday 18 November 2022.

The theme of Reach Out came about following consultation with teachers and pupils by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, which coordinates Anti-Bullying Week every year in England and Wales.

Bullying affects millions of lives and can leave us feeling hopeless.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

If we challenge it, we can change it, and it starts by reaching out.

It takes courage, but it can change lives.

So, this Anti-Bullying Week, let’s come together and reach out to stop bullying.

Annette Madden, our Safeguarding Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the work of the Anti-Bullying Alliance, by championing Anti-Bullying Week 2022.

“Football is not exempt from the harm that bulling causes, so we’re pleased to use this week to shine a spotlight on its impact, and how we all can reach out and help stop it!”

To get involved on social media, post with #AntiBullyingWeek and #ReachOut on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter.
