The IAG supports work relating to race, disability, gender, sexuality and many more specific areas.

The IAG meets in a flexible format, face to face meetings will take place no more than four times a year, some meetings will be in smaller groups online as and when needed and dependent on the specific role of each IAG member, there may be additional events to attend and support as and when required.

A future aim for the IAG will be to achieve the Advanced status for the National Equality Standard in Sport. The IAG will lead a pivotal role in delivering the Equality Action Plan as well as challenging and overseeing its outcomes.

Individuals appointed to the IAG will require the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience to have a positive and meaningful impact.
