Replay Maintenance partnership

Specialist maintenance providers for 3G pitches

We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Replay Maintenance, the UK’s market leader in maintaining synthetic sports surfaces.

The partnership will allow all pitch operators throughout the county to benefit, all year round, from special rates on all of Replay’s services, as we bid to improve and enhance the maintenance of high-quality and long-lasting 3G football pitches.

Replay can additionally supply equipment and machinery for in-house use. They’re at the forefront of developing, and investing in, maintenance procedures whilst also simplifying the complete ‘asset management’ of a pitch with their exciting new Passport365 App system. The App enables clients to manage the complete lifecycle of a pitch from its build to end-of-life.

Replay have established their reputation by providing excellent service and results over the last 16 years, building up a trusted base of customers including schools, academies, universities and sports clubs.

Their services begin with general advice, guidance and training, including an initial free ‘Facility Survey Report’ to help establish the condition of a pitch. Proactive, regular service agreements can then include weekly drag-brushing to Replay’s specialist ‘REVIVE’ decompaction and cleaning. Reactive processes such as repairs, infill top-ups and rejuvenation are also on offer.

“A pitch will always benefit most from having a well-planned maintenance programme in place from day one,” said Replay’s Nick Harris.

“Planning in the first instance is important. However, an older, under-maintained pitch will still always benefit from introducing good maintenance practices at any point during its life, to help improve performance and longevity.

“Sussex is one of the larger County FAs in England, and Replay Maintenance are very proud and excited to become a partner to such a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

“With major investment from The FA and the Football Foundation in 3G Pitches, we hope our knowledge can really help pitch owners to operate and provide some of the best facilities in the country.”

Ken Benham, Sussex County FA Chief Executive, welcomed the new deal: “With Sussex’s stock of 3G pitches growing all the time, it’s crucial we help ensure they’re being looked after effectively. This exciting partnership with Replay Maintenance is a real step in the right direction towards providing the best possible surfaces.”
