Non-League Day

Non-League Day 2019

Non-League Day returns Saturday 12 October

Following a highly successful event last year, Non-League Day returns once again in partnership with Kick It Out for a tenth year on Saturday 12 October 2019.

Non-League Day was first launched in 2010 as a means to support non-league clubs in the English National League System with the Premier League and Championship on an international break.

Its inaugural event took place in September 2010 and saw attendances across the National League System increase around ten percent.

From this moment, Non-League Day was well on its way to coming an established and highly anticipated time of the football calendar, back by The FA, Premier League, Kick it Out and the clubs themselves.

Non-League Day founder, James Doe, explains of the impact the day has had: ““When I set up Non-League Day in 2010, I had no idea it would grow to become the event it is today, let alone reach a 10th year.

“It has only been possible thanks to the tireless efforts of a small group of volunteers who have put in considerable amounts of their own time and money to make sure it happens, and our partner organisations who have helped us spread the message that bit further each time.“
