Our Women’s Representative Squad face Middlesex County FA in the final of the Southern Counties Cup Competition on Wednesday 20 March at Rectory Park.

Sussex topped the Southern Counties Cup Competition (South) comfortably and after an extremely impressive campaign and will meet Southern Counties Cup Competition (North) winners, Middlesex County FA in the final to determine who will be crowned the 2018/19 champions. 

Sussex’s opening fixture of the competition saw them brush Kent aside 7-0, they then travelled across the coast to HMS Temeraire where they edge a 3-1 victory against the Navy and to seal a place in the final, put six goals past Channel Island Jersey.

This competition has been running since 1999 but from 2002 to 2010 the competition did not run. However, Sussex have lifted the cup twice back in 2011 and 2016.
