Hello Everyone, I hope you are enjoying the summer and looking forward to the season which is fast approaching!
There have been a number of changes to the Office Staff at the Sussex County FA. We were sad to see the departure of the Office Manager Nigel Williams who had been at the SCFA for the past 8 years. His overall knowledge of football and life in general will be missed by us all. I am however pleased to say that Nigel has been voted onto Council to represent Clubs in the Western Division for the next three seasons.
With effect from 1st April 2009 (no jokes please) I took up post as General Manager, replacing Nigel who kindly stayed with us up until 5th June 2009. I am pleased to have been given the opportunity as General Manager and look forward to working with the Staff, Council, Leagues, Clubs and Volunteers all associated with the Sussex County FA in all aspects of the game.
Following these changes, we had a post for General Administrator become available and I am pleased to say we have employed James Westlake to fill this post. James is a keen football player and joined to office on 8th June. James will be responsible for General Administration relating to Discipline and will now deal with a number of things I used to with regards to Cautions, Disciplinary Monies and general enquiries.
Please read the attached document (under related documents) for more about James in his personal article.
I hope you all enjoy this edition of the Sussex Scene and as always, if you have any queries or questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Office and we will endeavour to answer your questions and help where possible.
All the best for the coming season
Ash
