Firstly, may we express the thanks of the Sussex County Football Association (SCFA) and the Refereeing Department for the service that you have given and hopefully will continue to give to football in Sussex as a Referee. The work that you do for Sussex football is highly valued by the SCFA and its affiliated Leagues and Clubs.
Opposite is the Football Association (FA) Registration Form for this coming season, which should be downloaded, completed and returned, along with your registration card, to the SCFA Referee Department by 31st May 2008, thus assisting us with FA and SCFA administration requirements.
All Referees who have registered by 30th June 2008 will be eligible for:
- Appointments to FA Cup matches
- Appointments to SCFA Cup matches* (see below)
- Appointments to Representative matches
* Referees who, for whatever reason, do not wish to receive SCFA Cup Competition Appointments should tick the appropriate box in the County Area section of the Registration Form and return it as soon as possible.
Promotion Candidates -
Please note that it is a requirement of the SCFA Promotion Scheme that you must be registered by 31st May 2008 otherwise you will be removed from the scheme!
Newly Qualified Referees -
Those of you who passed the Referee’s exam after 1st March 2008 have already paid the Registration for this coming year, 2008/2009, in with your Referee Course Fees. However, you must still complete the new Registration Form enclosed, as it is a requirement to enable us to update your details.
We wish you continued success in your Refereeing career, and hope that you will take part in our comprehensive ongoing training programme during the coming season; details of which are published in our regular Newsletters and on the SCFA Website at www.sussexfa.com.
