For whom ?

Those who have completed the FA Basic Treatment of Injury or Level 2 Certificate in the Treatment & Management of Injury (L2TMI) award.

Enrolment

Candidates must be 18 years old, hold a current FA emergency Aid Certificate ( or equivalent) and have achieved the FA Basic award or L2TMI. Prior to certification, candidates must have attended the FA Child Protection & Best Practice workshop.


Course content
Anatomy of the lower and upper limbs, surface and functional anatomy.
Principles of Injury evaluation, common injuries to upper and lower limb.
Treatment and management of common injuries
Fitness for football

Assessment

1. Internally assessed written paper.
2. Internally assessed 25 minute practical.
3. Externally assessed written paper.
