We also offer advice and guidance on many subjects, Safeguarding Children, which now include Club Welfare Officers right through to financial and practical advice around facility developments where grant availability might be applicable.
Since becoming Incorporated in November 1999, the Sussex County FA is now far more commercially minded and recognises the need for marketing and strategic planning to secure the long term future of the game in our County. The Sussex County FA is a Limited Company by Guarantee and a non-profit making organisation.
The whole of the above involve some 20 or more affiliated Leagues, which encompass some 900 Clubs (2500 teams) covering all ages, Under 7’s right through to Veterans, the we have over 700 Referees registered each season and over 200 Coaches within our Coaches Association. Of course to carry out these many activities, the need for professional people is high on the list and we have 16 staff on site to carry out many aspects, along with many volunteers supporting those staff.
With this in mind the Sussex County FA is seeking the help of companies in wider sphere to support the work we do by taking up our offers of advertising and other sponsorship opportunities.
We have been and still are redeveloping our existing offices and football facility here at Culver Road, Lancing and this project gives us further opportunities to offer potential assistance to our sponsors. One of our additional features as a result of our redevelopment, is our ability to show our support to businesses via our “Club Screen” aspect. We have a number of televisions within the buildings where we are able to show links/adverts for any of our partners, this is of course then visible to the whole public whenever they visit the stadium or our offices.
